Former Deputy Minister for Administration Served (2014-2016)
Deputy Minister Sharpe has over 30 years experience in both the private and public sectors. In the public sector, he worked for seven years as a revenue auditor at the Ministry of Finance after completing his studies at the University of Liberia (Class of "84'). Later in the public sector, he worked for over 10 years in the Finance Department of Providence City Government in Providence, Rhode Island, USA as Fiscal Financial Officer.
 
Min. Sharpe worked at the Ministry of Public Works as Deputy Minister for Administration and Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy. In the Private sector, Minister Sharpe worked as an accountant for both Allied Signal now Honeywell in Rumford, Rhode Island and Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket , RI USA.  
 
Minister Sharpe received his High School Diploma from the College Of West Africa and Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from the University of Liberia. Also, he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island, USA.
 
He is a member of the first Presbyterian Church in Monrovia and serving as an elder. He has been involved in several humanitarian activities including volunteer for Habitat for Humanity (Humanitarian Organization established by former US president Jimmy Carter) which constructed homes for underprivileged residents of Rhode Island, USA. He served on the outreached committee of Providence Presbyterian church in Providence, Rhode Island, USA and provided humanitarian services to refugees from the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa. Presently, he serves on the board of WOMASSI, humanitarian organization established in the United States that is catering to the needs of young disadvantage children in Liberia.
